Well it's now been a couple of years since DC killed the XJ. I really don't see that many Lady Libertys out on the road here in Jacksonville, FL.

Who knows if the KJ is selling as many units per year as the XJ? I can't find the number... If there's someone here who can find the numbers and run some kinda comparison it would sure be interesting to see if the KJ is selling as well as the XJ did.

I dunno 'bout sales #'s,but we drove one over the weekend while our XJ was in for service,it had more driveline vibes than our 2" lifted 2000 XJ does! I've heard they've been having some issues with the KJ,like balljoint failures and rearend failures. A buddy of mine at work bought one and can't wait for the value/payoff to equalize. He wants to get rid of it and buy another Ford. He said he'd never buy another Jeep vehicle! I guess we have DC to thank for this downhill slide  Thing is,he traded a 1 year old Ford Mustang Bullit edition in on it because that's what his wife wanted! Now she hates it and wants something else! It sucks,I know, but it's still sort of funny.

You'll hear both sides. I've got a friend that has one as a company vehicle. He likes it just fine. The fact is the Cherokee is no longer built in the US, and the Liberty is. I think its time to move on.

I know someone who just bought one and he hates it and is getting a cherokee now instead.-------Kyle
