XJ-Limited: Removal of cargo-strips?

How do I remove the cargo-strips/end-caps? Thanks!

Look at the end caps from the top. You will see a small torx screw holding the end cap in place. Remove screw, remove end cap, slide out cross rail...

Doesn't sound like mine... Here's a photo:

lift the carpet up. there are studs protruding through the carpet which are hold the strips on by little PITA circle clips from underneath. I wouldnt bother removing them unless ya want to get rid of them completely
