WTB: Small pickup for mpg & work.

I'm looming at either a ford ranger or maybe a taco or frontier. I hate having to drive my picture XJ to work all over the place its not in good enough shape to make a 300 mile round trip without barfing. (i've rediscovered the word barf and it makes me smile for some reason.) Anyway, I would prefer lower miles and 5 years old or newer if anyone has any ideas let me know
