It was available for quite some time. Just a Mopar accessory catalog piece that few people purchased. Most people had little need to move their spare from inside the cargo area.

I've never seen on in the flesh either, but it seems a fitting addition to any stock or near stock XJ, which is how I'll likely keep mine.

A solid lead to one at a junkyard nets the finder the 6 pack of his or her choice.
