i need a project rig for this summer to build from stock - and have decided on a comanche

if you have any comanche in any condition, let me know - i want to know about it...

i am locaed in Lincoln, NE till March 10 and Bay Area, CA now and forever... (dad lives there)

will drive rediculus distance for good price MJ...

I will pick it up with a flat bed truck if necessary...

price will be dependant on condition...

nice choice!

there is a SWEET MJ for sale in Michigan, 1992 (last year), HO 4.0, AX-15, 4x4, shortbed, very clean, and ONLY 35,000 miles. It's at a dealer and they're listing it for $10k, but blue book is under 3k, so maybe you could swing it for around 4k.

Hey Op,
Cross post this on the MJ board over on Yahoo. Lately, there have been MJ for sale posts out the ying-yang, anywhere from junk to built up, with prices all over the board. Just find one to suit your taste.....
There's a 2WD longbed '87 down here in Richmond that I know the guy will take $500 for if you put the money under his nose, if that interests you. I've got some pics of it if ya wanna see it. I'm thinking about buying it, but my wife would murder me.

well - Brett the ultimate goal for this comanche is to be a around town hauler, and a trail rig - so someone that initialy wants 10,000 for one is:
1-out of their mind
2-a little too proud of their vehicle for my taste


i havnt posted on the mj board, but i have been reading the responces and responding individualy to people who have posted vehicles for sale...

idealy a 4.0L (really ill take anyhing but the 2.8L v6 found in the 86 and older models)
anything but a BA-10 (but, id take one of thoes too - just would drop 200 off the price)
4x4 is nice, but im swapping axles on the cherokee, so ill ahve a "spare" d30 that will bolt right up, so thats 1/2 of the 4x4 convertion...
