Ok so i smacked my exhaust pretty hard with my axle and needless to say it recracked my exhaust manifold. If anyone has one laying around they would like to get rid of at a decent price it would be greatly appriciated.

1993 xj HO 4.0.

I have the stock header off of my 99, it only has a tiny hairline crack on the lower collector, It's yours if you want it, otherwise its going into the scrap pile.

I'll even toss in a new intake/exhaust gasket with the deal.

Ok i may go that route then. Is there an issue with aftermarket exhaust manifolds or headers with smog? Looking at mine all i have is an o2 sensor. So as long as i have an 02 sensor hole it shouldnt prevent me from passing smog right?

Shouldn't, no. Technically supposed to be CARB legal. I believe that the manifolds are built to OE standards, but the headers are supposed to be CARB legal.

I have a stock one with a crack near the collector if you were nearer. I just hate to throw it in the trash.

When I had mine welded up, the guy that did it said it would only be a matter of time before it cracked again. He was right. For all the hassle of swapping it out, why not drop $100 on a new one, and be good for another 15 years, If the unibody holds up that long?

ya i had mine welded up when i put a new motor in and now its cracked again just a bit worse than before. Im gonna be ordering a new one.

I have a new stainless replacement if interested.

PM me if you need info.
