WTB D44 open carrier

im going to 4:56 gears. looking for an open carrier for a D44.
anybody have one laying around that they wanna part with?

Hey Fredy,

Sorry I didn't get back to you today.

Do you need an open carrier period, or do you have one but, need one to accommodate your 4.56 gears.

You can do as I did and just get a set of "thick" gears.....these will work with 3.73 and down carriers.
Rubicon D44s use thick gears, the only difference being they use 7/16" ring gear bolts instead of 3/8" like the original XJ's.....easily fix that by drilling the carrier bolt holes to 7/16".

Some gear sets (Nitro for one , I think) are tapped for both.

Ps any open will work. Not just 3.92 and up...

I would just get u a thick gear if a 3.73 and dn carrier.

Just has to be open.

you pmed me earlier and i already sold the one with 4.10's but i just realized i have one for 3.73 and down, if you want that. no spider gears, just the carrier and pin and bearings. if you want it, let me know by tomorrow or else my buddy is recycling it with some other metal tomorrow evening when he swings over.
