A co-worker bought a project 97TJ. It has a D44 rear axle and a D30 front, he wants to upgrade.

Frank Z in the Colorado chapter for sale section has a front D44 for sale... it's full width... so you may have to cut it to size. Don't bother with the fron D44s from a TJ, they're not at all worth the price.
I've never met Frank Z personally, but have heard lots of good things about the guy.

2100$ for a HP D44 built, new with thick wall 3" tubes, super thick and nice Currie HD brackets with johnny joint upper mounts, Inner C to Inner C that accepts all the TJ/XJ outer knuckles, steering, brakes. Thats with a spartan locker, chromoly inner axles, ball joints, inner seals, yoke, cover and any gear ratio. A very easy swap into any XJ/TJ. All new parts.
Basically this, but without the outer axles and tone rings for ABS or the air fitting for the ARB. This one was just sold to a AZ member for his XJ...
