WTB cheap XJ

I'm looking for a cheap XJ for a neighbor who is looking for his first car. His budget is $1500. It doesn't need to be pretty, just running and reliable.

Damn there was just a 92 XJ..tan color, really clean paint, not fading at all..It was 4.0/np231 and a auto trans..D35/D0. Only issue I saw was driver seat was where you ass goes was ripped and it had a grey passenger seat...instead of the normal tan it should of had!

I'll go ask the guy if he's still got it or not!

Check the ventura craigslist. just saw one yesterday. 2 door 4x4 runs good for $995

Buddy of mine, who is not really into the Jeep thing is selling his XJ. He is going to Germany and will be using the funds for that. IIRC, I posted some specs of it in the Sierra Chapter when someone was looking. Its a 4dr 4.0L/5-spd 1989
