Anyone have Ford 24lb. injectors they are not using?
I have a tester to make sure they work if your not sure.
I seen them on Ebay but thought i would check if anyone locally has some.

Flashed?
I have read soooo many post saying you can't do any mods to the ecu. Yet then for every 10 that says that, 1 says they have had it done??

Im running 24's in my stroker. No other changes(flashing??).. Keep an eye out on CL. Its where i got mine for ~$75.. Basically new from a mustang SC owner upgrading his..

Use this link to find your flow rating and PSI for your vehicle and for the intended injector.. Otherwise your just wasting money.

Back when I was looking for some I found ones that where not listed.. Sent the web op an email and he called me back same day.. Really cool guy and very helpful.

I'm not sure exactly what i need. I do need the injectors so PM sent to Chip Clip.
I am not sure if it can be flashed or not...? A friend who is a mechanic told me that's what i need to do but he is not a Jeep specific mechanic....

Pm sent dirtweazle

Keep this stuff going in your thread. Someone else may want/need this info..

So your jeep runs good without any mods to the ECU.? If it was even possible.

My friend who is a mechanic told me that by running the injectors it might run too rich if i don't get the ECU flashed.
We are also installing a map adjuster.
I want to get the most performance out of this motor so i don''t want it too rich or too lean. It's a 4.6 stroker BTW.

Any help would be appreciated.

2.5 years and 40k miles possible. DD the beast.. No changes to the ECU at all. I have a 2k and was told the computer can adjust with the 24lb injectors. This has been the only change to the system I have done. I watch my plugs on every oil change and have had no issues. Other recomendations are the MAP adjuster. I made one like this http://www.angelfire.com/my/fan/MAP_adjuster.html but never installed it. You do need a WIDE band AF meter to see results of any adjustment you make.. Or lots of dyno time. Cheapest those things are ~$200 range. And my idea is a digital Volt meter installed in dash so you know what the adjustable MAP (1-7v) is doing.

Read the previous link I sent you about the injectors.. He gives a quick break down on what you need and why. My 2k runs the 43.5 PSI. Injectors need to match this. Lbs can vary and he has a few calcs to help you out with this.

For stroker questions http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/ is what got me from a blown head 4.0 to a DD 4.6 stroker that hates rear tires..

Awesome. I figured send a pm incase you didn't ever look back at this thread.

This helps so much.
Thanks man!
My brother in law already made a few map adjuster that are already in his tool box so we will install one and add the injectors.
Thx again.
Jeff.

If you are interested I have a set of (6) Precision Injection fuel injectors for sale that have about 2000 miles on them.
I purchased about 4 months ago; they were replacements for the 53030778 Jeep grey top injectors used on a '96-98 XJ w/ 4.0L.
These injectors are rated at 23.2 lbs/hr at 49 psi.
