WTB 231 case

Worse case is they're $100 at pick a part. Pop any one you get open and check the internals. The forks seem to wear on them. Also, be careful about the year. You need similar year auto for auto manual for manual as input shaft spline count differs. Up to 90 they were 21, 91 on 23 (HO motor). Just compare them when you have them out. I did the same swap 242-231.

New member here. Just curious, why are you swapping out the 242? Is it just because you want to do the tail shaft conversion? Is it in otherwise good condition? The reason I ask is because I have a 242 with issues and I am looking for a cheap easy fix. Let me know. You can also email me at [email protected]

Thanks
