wtb: 2.5L frame side motor mount brackets

just what it says...i need a set of brackets that attach to the unibody rails for the 2.5l. let me know if you have a set

Year model? IIRC on the early models the motor mounts and such are the same. The block between the 6 and the 4 share the same geometry. I converted from an 85 2.5l over to a stroker and the mounts bolted up just fine.

84-86 all shared the same mounts...87 and up there are two different sets of mounts, one for the 2.5l one for the 4.0. the pre 87's didn't have the 4.0 so the 2.8 v6 and the 2.5l shared the same

it seems like a lot of folks lose the 2.5l and swap in a 4.0...someone has to have a set. posting in the nationals now too. let me know!

2.5L XJ frame side motor mount brackets are nearly impossible to find. According to your profile, you have a 98 XJ. If this is the case, there were two different types of frame-side brackets. One is very similar to the 4.0 version. The other looks totally different with the mount and bracket all one unit. If you give us a call and/or send a pic, we may be able to help you.

this is for an 88 comanche...need the 2.5l frame side ones. i actually think i have a set tracked down from an 87...hopefully. everyone that has them seems to just scrap them
