next week the plan is to use 3m panel bond to join it. then fill the screw holes and then do the mud work at the joint and blend it all in. i am surprised how well it fit this large flat hood,as the WRX hood is curved downward a lot at the front. and i need to cut and bend the hood skin where you can see it in the scoop opening. long time bodyman, but first time grafting a scoop in.:patriot:

Looks nice but good luck keeping a TPS working in the rain.

I would put a stainless mesh over the opening to keep crap and varmits out.

If you are going to get some SEM panel bond, I have the applicator you can borrow. It will save you $75.

Just put a splatter shield over the throttle body/sensors ... A margarine container with a hole cut in the bottom fit over the TB and retained by the rubber inlet hose works. May be ghetto, but was all I had when the idea hit me. Something better can be found eventually.
I like the idea ... Maybe a rear facing would look good too.

I can't believe it's a butter....container. :anon:

Nah, Becel, sunflower stuff works way butter-er ... Er.
I was planning to make something more gooder-er one day, but with the failing Canuck buck and all that jazz. Meh!
