I'll have to ask my girl if I've got plans or not ;) , but I'll aim on being there. Looks like a trip distance of 59.04 miles and a time of 1 hour 14 minutes.
Alright, well it looks like I'll be heading down with a buddy that owns a ZJ (and half a YJ) rather then my girlfreind... but I'lll still be there.

yeah, i was going to point that out again because i cant edit the original post. 4pm it is.. for anyone who hasnt been there its a great time so come hungry!! the far left back corner of the lot down by the road fills up last so we can all park together. we will likely hang around the rigs until it gets too cold and then go inside to the waiting area. we cant make reservations so our wait-time will be dictated by the rest of the crowd but we will end up in the waiting area for a while.
the only pain-in-the-a$$ with this is that we cant all ask for separate checks so i will probably collect $$ before we sit. i'll figure it out this week but i'll ask you for an amount that will cover a tip as well.. the only beverage included with your meal is water.. so the pitchers of soda will be extra, if you want alcohol you will have to get it yourself and keep it off our tab so it doesnt confuse things..

again i have a few NacFest 2007 shirts and NAC stickers that go to the first MEMBERS who show up...

see you all there!!!!!

See everyone in a few hours!
Good time yesterday, nice to put some names with some faces, had a good time chatting with Mike (sidriptide) and others during dinner.

Few things I learned:
1) I'm not the only one that thinks the wheeling a semi-stock XJ is almost more fun then an all out tubed beast on 39s (don't get me wrong, I'm building just that, but its stock/semi-stock is fun wheelin')
2) WE ALL NEED to check and double check out and ensure that the trails we use are 100% legal. Heck, one of the guys I came down with had thought a trail was legal and it turns out it was only legal to walkers and mountain bikes (good thing none of use had gone out there)
3) All you can eat chicken/pasta/fries/salad will make you tired.

haha definitely had a lot of fun at the meet and greet yesterday.

I was one of the four in the Stoughton group (Colin). Carmello (red - head kid) was definitely a riot lol.

And I second that notion about all that chicken/fries/salad making you tired...I was so worn out when I got home lol.

I went all the way there and parked in the back lot all the way over on the left and realized i didn't know anybody or what they looked like. I parked near some other xj's and waited about 10 minutes and went into the door by the gift shop (got the new raccoon webkinz for my step daughter) walked around the bar area toward the dining room, but like i said i didn't even know who i was looking for. This was between 5:15 and 5:35. i didn't realize how big the place was and how many people would be there. Popular joint! I then went outside and re entered though that function room door to the right of the big chicken, but I didn't see anyone, cuz i don't know anyone. I left at 6Pm and drove home, i was having some idleing problems and it would have been cool to tallk to someone about it.

Its my own fault, i should have got a phone number or two before i left.

Oh well, theres always next time.

Cipey

i did the same thing, at around the same time. i was in a multi colored bronco 2 instead of a cherokee which made it kind of harder. it wasent a total waste of time, i was on my way to pick up my new ford 9" and was headed by there anyways.

any word on the next wheelin event... went to the last one in august and i hope the next one will have better turnout

Oh that sucks guys. We all met around 4 and waited outside until about 5. We sat towards the back in the "carriage room" I believe.

Definitely should have got a number or something.

Definately fun meeting up with you guys!

We'll have to do it again at some point :)

-Chris

thanks to everyone who came out!! sorry we missed you guys who showed late. the place wasnt too busy when we got in there and our wait was only 15 minute sor so.. when we left around 6 the wait was close to 1.5 hrs!! early arrivals are the key to enjoying the visit. i cant wait till another year so i may do it again in the summer..
