Snagged one for $7 at the junkyard with 4ft of harness. From what i can find, only 3 wires are used. One goes to 12v switched (ignition or otherwise), one to ground, and one to 12v reverse lamp
My question is, whats the best 12v switched to tap into up top that wont overload the circuit? First thought is 12v switched to stereo harness. 12v reverse i could tap into the circuit under the shift console. The idea being that the auto dim is turned off when reverse is engaged
