Will front seats from 2003 WJ fit in 96 XJ?

Just like the title says can I take the leather seats out of a 2003 Jeep grand cheerokee and put them into my 96 XJ? Well would it be a direct fit or am I looking at a weekends worth of modifying them?

Trying to remember exactly but I'm pretty sure 95+ you can swap in the fronts. Rear is more work.

I know that the ZJ seats will fit for certain. Not entirely sure about the WJ seats. I seem to think they are wider than both ZJ and XJ seats

WJ seats will fit onto 1995.5-2001 XJ front seat bases. WJ front seats are only about 1 inch wider than XJ seats.

The seats will fit, but you have to use your XJ's seat tracks/mounts.
You can FAB up the GC tracks to your XJ track/mounts making a hybrid mount, so you can use the electric functions, But you have to cut/weld to make it all line up.
