Who has the tire mount & balance?

Dunno. Are you talking about the do it yourself place we'd posted about a while back? Auto Bayz? They went out of business back in November '07.

Otherwise, I haven't heard of any member having a tire machine and balancer..... But it sure would be nice if we find someone who does.......

hmmm. no this was someone who had on in there garage. dang wonder who it was?

I've still got that old tire buster but it can handle only up to a 31" tire at largest and that's pushing it. The center post is too thick for the alloy wheels too and the threads don't go up high enough for today's wheel offsets anyway. I bought that just to remove tires from aluminum wheels for scrapping.

Never had a balancer.

Get with Mike (in4aride) - he works at the Big O in Woodland Park. He keeps posting up that he's more than happy to mount/balance with a reasonable price. The Big O by me has never charged me more than $60 to mount and balance 4 - and that was having to dismount 4 old from the wheels as well.

I could hook you up on the weekend, my work has a sweet oldschool machine. I mounted my 36's with it. As for the balancer, we've got one of those too. I just put a pound of airsoft bb's in each of my 36x13.5R15 IROKs and they do great. Only the slightest bit of speed vibes between 50 and 55. I've driven all the way down to Aurora at 75mph w/ a trailer and had no issues.

ya it depends on the guy balancing.....a lot of people half ass with anything over a 31 or a 265/75....
also depends on what kinda balance your wanting to do...i have my 35's static balanced(only weight on iside of rim) and im zero'd on all 4
