Near Roseville/ Sacramento area. Called napa on auburn blvd and says he 'has no way of securely propping up the axle in order to use the press.'
Then recommended me to no one and told my to go but my own press.
The D30 axle is uninstalled. where can I go? Any way to booty fab a press from clamps vices steel welding etc?

Why not rent a ball joint press from AZ? Its basically a giant C clamp with some adapters.
If you can't find one locally, HF online has them reasonably.

It's not a hard job. Just go rent/borrow a ball joint/u-joint press tool like the last poster suggested and whola. I've done it twice to mine, no big thing. It helps if you occasionally whack the knuckle with a hammer once in a while and use a big breaker bar.
