Sounds like we need a Saturday wrench fest at your place! Why a box brace I thought the general consensous was that a plate worked better? Bumper not a problem assuming you have the bumper. Hose are easy too jsut let us know when to come camp out at your place and we will get you going!

Danno let me use his brace as a trail-fix/get-homer when I tore the box of the frame. Dale was kind enough to trail weld it together (at the clamp end) so any/all cussing during removal it is directed at him alone :smsoap: J/K Mang... Twas I who let the box bolts loosen & fail...I don't think I'll reuse it on this rig...

The bumper and the C Rok plate should offer plenty of stiffening... and it IS Saturday. If I get on the ball, I'll have that part of it squared away today.

I hate to admit it, but yesterday was a glamor-whore day for my 88 Limited :shhh: I repainted my (red) grille & light trim with satin black, finished stripping the trim goo, and coated the bumpers & lower sheetmental/rockers with some spray-on bedliner stuff. It looks a LOT better now, almost Trail-Rated!

Got to a good stopping point...

I found (& how I remember the fun now) that the upper box bolt sheared off in the box. We had it moving in Nov with needlenose Grips... This nasty box gotta come out of there to be fixed on. So:

Plan B is replace the pump, leaky hoses, & box with some good 120k stash parts. More work but more tread-lightly & no more PS leaks!
