wheel question

I currently have 15x8 wheels with 3.75" backspacing and -18mm offset. I found a good deal on some 16x9 wheels that are 5" backspacing but no offset. My question is will these wheels work on my Jeep? Im running a 6 inch lift with 35x12.50s...I want the tires to stick out some so they dont rub

Should be okay, do you have tires to fit the 16's?

I dont have the tires yet to fit on the 16's, but my tires are in need of being replaced. I'm either going with the new BFG KM2s or Maxxis Bighorns, I have heard great things about both tires. The wheels are Pro Comp 7105's.

IMO, there are much better tires out there.
Goodyear Wrangler MT/R, Dayton/Firestone Destination M/T, Cooper STT

Cooper STT's and Goodyear MTR are about on par with each other. Both amazing tires, definitely a benchmark. Bighorns look similar, and are cheaper, but quality goes with it. KM2's are also way up there. My buddy has a set on his rig and they are amazing. They do seem pretty soft and have chunked a couple lugs, but I'm sure it's from hitting his fenders not the rocks. No comment on the Firestone MT's though.
