what size of tube.

i am making brackets for my rock slider to mount to
my frame rail, there are 3/16 by1.75. the bracket will slide over
the 1.75 tube, and welded to the frame rail.
what is the next size up tube 1.75 is it 2" or is there one in the middle.
it will be bolted together.or is this a dumb question.
male into a female end, i hope this makes sense.

If you had the pretty common size of 2" x .120" wall tube, that will slide over 1.75" tube nicely.

Get dom too, the others have a seam do you cant use them for a sleeve.
