The only possible way that's an 8.25 is if the bottom lip has been ground off. Also, the 43225 number on the cover indicates it could be an '87-'89 YJ diff. casting with anything from 3.55 to 4.56 gears or the most likely answer of a '94-'96 XJ casting with a ratio between 3.55-4.11.
The initial picture is sharp enough that if you look closely, you'll see not only the obvious Dana logo on the cover and on the rubber plug, but you can even read "35C" on the left top webbing.
