What rear end do forest service XJs typically come with?

Looking at a 1996 surplus XJ with 85k miles, auto trans. Pretty sure it's fairly stripped down and has the rubber floors etc.

Will it more than likely have the dana 35 or might I be lucky and it have the 8.25?

Most I've seen have had the 35 with the trac-loc. JIM.

My brother is driving a 1995 USFS surplus XJ. It has an AW4 with ABS and rubber floor mats. Find out if the XJ has ABS; It should be on the listing. ABS only came with the D35. My brothers has an open differential with 4.11 gears.
