As you already know, the SEC board recently debuted a new logo. With that new logo, we've been upgrading our stock of chapter owned items.
We purchased 3 new 10 x 10 EZUp awnings for use at events. We also purchased three 4 ft x 4 ft banners with the new logo on it. Two are one sided and one will be double sided. As well, to protect the new banners during transit and storage, 3 hard sided adjustable storage tubes have been purchased. Lastly, we may have the new logo printed onto the new EZUps. This hasn't been confirmed yet.
We were also granted money from the National BOD for land use this winter. Part of that money went to the Friends of Uwharrie earlier in the calendar year. The remainder of the grant money was used to purchase absorbent pads, latex gloves, large trash bags, and car-use logo litter bags in order to prepare, for our users, spill kits to keep in the trucks for trail rides. Each participating rig at the Crawl will be receiving one as part of their registration. As we get them built, they will be available in our SEC store.
We are actively discussing swag and are working on a new design for chapter shirts and hoodies. If you have suggestions on additional swag you'd like considered, or have questions about the purchases we've recently made, please feel free to comment on this thread.
