Made a dent in my list over the past week but still have a lot of late nights in the garage ahead...

Remove front axle Done
Remove rear axle Done
Remove short arms Done
Remove fenders and inner fender panels Done
Remove stock crossmember and replace smashed tranny pan
Re-gear front axle & re-install lockerIn progress
Remove RE Leaf springsDone
Install HDO shackle boxesDone
Install new Daystar progressive bump stops
Install new IRO leaf springsDone
Install Rear D44 already locked, disced, & trussed ready to go in just needs shock tabs
Install new built crossmember and build my 3 link
Install Barnes brackets for 3 link on front axle
Install IronMan4x4 Motor Mounts
Install new high clearance inner fender panels In progress
Install new front Bilsteins
Install coil spacers
Install new front winch bumper and winch Done
Install new dry cell battery, computer, and winch controller onto new inner fenders
Re-install header panel

Yea I'll be busy...I'm on a 3 week summer break from school and it just started that's why its so last minute. I actually have time to wrench now that I just have work and the Jeep to worry about.

Well I think I sold my xj so I need to finish getting my dirt bike running.

Install racing harnesses
Install Steering cooler
New battery
Install pitman arm
Replace all fluids
Install head light
Fix cb

found out tonight that my front wheel bearings are rusted up and siezed together...

Good thing you caught it before you destroyed the hub and the spindle.

change engine oil
take off old hitch
fill up the gas tank
mount two tires

seems like the front is doing all the work. maybe the rear is too stiff or the front is too soft.

Tied all the tools down and started to laod stuff in the jeep.... Will not be long now!

Nope, shackle is working well.

- remove driveshafts, to check joints and measure for spares DONE
- order and install new alloy shafts front & rear Front - DONE, rear - getting press on bearings installed
- build spare driveshafts DONE
- swap 35" street tires out for 37" iRocks DONE
- rebuild traction bar
- might rebuild tracbar
- tighten & grease ballistic joints DONE
- get new CB antenna
- fix fog & rock lights
- change valve cover gaskets DONE
- change oil DONE
- change front & rear diff fluid
- top off trans & tcase DONE
- a few other things I'm sure...

Oh, and fill out my Crawl registration DONE

Add to my list...
- fix bent rear axle housing DONE
- build truss for rear axle housing DONE
- swap out all 4 calipers for better brakes purchased, just need to install and bleed them
- make box for cooler DONE
- paint diff covers DONE

Hopefully my driveshafts will be done soon.

I have a much bigger list, but I've narrowed it down to things I really need to do so Doug doesn't yell at me when it's broke on the trail.

- Front/rear diff oil change
- Driver's hub/bearing/stage 8 swap
- Finish new cb antenna run
- Swap radios and install satellite dock
- Bang out rear quarter and reinstall fender flare
- Replace JJ bushings in the front long arm
- Bleed and service power steering pump
- Install one of the 3 tranny coolers I have in the garage
- Paint rock rails, bumpers and other asthetic bits
- Install intake filter
- Install stock seats (cheap suspension seats are torn and worn)
- Rewire ARB switches so they operate independently

Changed the oil Monday, changed the coolant and threw my ZJ fan clutch on this evening. Will be close enough to the 500 mile break in mark on the front axle by Sunday, so i'll be changing the fluid in that come then. All that's left is to top off the AC, do a good once over, and hope like hell nothing breaks lol.

I don't think the 8.8 that I put gears in ever got to 500 miles before Nate bought it.

I've always wondered if it was just a waste of diff oil to change it after the "break in" period. They don't do that on new trucks do they?
