I put some infinity 6.5 component(front) / coaxle(rear) with the stock deck and they sounded ok, sorta flat and not loud at all.
Adding a new HU and amp was part of the master plan all along but it was put off a bit. Today I added a pioneer 4ch amp and a pioneer HU and wow, these speakers are crazy now. They are seriously loud and clear as a bell at all volume.
I always thought amps go with sub woofers and not so much for normal speakers aside from serious audio. For the price it was not bad at all and it will blow your ears and I've yet to add the sub(with dedicated amp)!
I may have to sit in the garage one night and watch a movie on the HU and awesome speakers.
