It was a really slow roll, can't talk about what happened until after the court date (I stupidly called the police to "see if I needed to report it"- ugh). Luckily everyone was okay and all the suspension, tires, and the axles look like they can be removed. Looking at parting it out but I have to see what kind of interest there is first... Here are some specs:

- Front Currie JeepSpeed trussed High Pinion Ford 9" with 4.88's, 5x5.5 bolt pattern, ARB locker, Warn locking hubs, Chromoly shafts, drilled and slotted rotors, 1-Ton over-the-knuckle steering, reinforced lower control arm mounts, driveshaft flange (axle set up for Coilovers, requires fab work to fit regular XJ, OEM width)
- Rear Trussed Ford 9" with 4.88's, 5x5.5 bolt pattern, Detroit Locker, and 31-spline chromoly shafts (has air bump pads welded on, OEM width)
- Rubicon Express Heavy Duty Track Bar and Bracket
- TnT Long-Arm Y-Link setup
- JB Conversions Heavy Duty NP231 J Transfer Case with Super-Short Slip Yoke Eliminator
- 35x12.50R15 ProComp Xtreme A/T tires, 80% or more tread left (5 total, spare has repaired hole)
- Five 15x8 Ion Black 171's, 5x5.5 bolt pattern
- Custom rock rails (very nice but "feet" were welded to unibody)
- Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir 14" Racing Coilovers
- Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Racing Shocks (don't know length)
- JKS Bar-Pin eliminators (upper-rear and lower front)
- Rubicon Express 4.5" super flex coil springs and fixed control arms
- Timbren progressive front bumpstops (fit stock)
- Rubicon Express 4.5" super flex leaf pack with add-a-leaf
- 2" air bumps
- IPF H4 headlights with FatBoys
- After market speakers and head unit (decent, not amazing)
- Throttle Body Spacer (1" from Rusty's)
- Currie Anti-Rock sway bar
- Locking gas cap
- License plate holder for 2" trailer hitch hole
- Official 2000 XJ Manual/Book (the thick one dealerships use to work on them)
- Stainless steel brake lines front and rear

Things that might prove difficult to remove:
- MORE motor mounts
- Centerforce dual-friction clutch
- Yellow-top battery (bumper has to be removed first)
- Custom front bumper (ties into engine cage)
- 6x9 cone air intake (may have been damaged in rollover)
- Bushwacker flares (looked intact but scratched)
- NV3550 Manual Transmission

Honestly, I don't really have a location where all this stuff could be removed, so I would need someone to "host" that for me (maybe for a percentage of the sales?). But then once the axles are gone I have no idea how the vehicle would be removed. Oy... ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks for reading, be safe out there.

That sucks man.Sweet looking XJ.My buddy did the same thing. He beat the roof back out and siliconed new glass in and it's now a trail rig.

Sorry bout the roll man, glad everybody's ok though.
Sucks that your engine cage didn't do anything.

That sucks. Hate to see a rig sitting on it's roof. However the most important thing is everyone is ok. Why not get a new rig and transplant all the goodies?

Thanks all, I just think I'm done with the XJ scene. I built my "perfect" rig and with the cancer diagnosis (in full remission) this year and everything else I'm looking to play it safe for a while. Too many brushes with death for me lately I guess.

damn that really sucks, glad everyone is alright...
if you need a hand tearing it down let me know, ive learned to make quick work of the XJ's, just ask peach :D

oh and pm sent

This happened last Thursday night behind the Super8 near Peterson and Platte (in the open field).

Also, I posted this here just to give a heads up. I don't know what's going to happen with the Insurance Company's offer for the vehicle, etc., so please don't PM me quite yet. When I'm ready to fully part I will post in the For Sale section. Someone already offered a location, so that's taken care of; thanks to you who have already shown interest in the parts. I'll PM back to you if I decide to go that route.

Whoops... damn lol

Sorry to see this, glad to see you are ok though… Also glad to hear about the big “C”.

FYI we have stayed away from Chipotle since we met you.:puke:

Oh man, that sucks brutha.......... dammit that was a pretty cool rig.

I can empathize with your ultimate frustration right now..... all that work and now seemingly ruined......

Maybe take some time, mull it over for a while, but it's still very salvageable. Dunno if you're into open air Jeeps, but I'd have to seriously consider removing the roof and doors and take it to that same shop you had that work done at and have them do a full structural cage tied into your engine cage. Get a canvass top made for it, lexan windshield and just keep it covered when not in use.

It'd be a shame to part it out, but ultimately you gotta do what suits you best.

Total bummer man.

sorry to see that- glad you walked away ok though... curious to hear the story-
I'd guess the insurance company will sell it back to you for much less than the resale of the parts will be, and plenty of people around here will be willing to give you some real estate to let it sit for some of the parts... I have a free spot in my driveway :)
