Welding advice

I've got the dreaded body rot again underneath the seats, and want to press my old 120A mig welder into action, rather than paying someone else to do the work. Can anyone recommend a good website or resource that would talk me through the procedure for bodywork repair (apart from Naxja, of course!)? It's been a while since I've done any welding, and it would be good not to fluff up.

they will all have some advice for joining metals. joining sheet metal is pretty easily done. hope this doesn't find you too late but the best resourse is AWS.

I live near Perth - my nearest 4x4 area is about 5 miles away at a place by the name of Glentarkie, although I've not yet been around it in the XJ, since I've never deemed it ready for the abuse. It gets enough getting kicked by my wife's horses when I'm in fixing the fencing...
