welder. woooooooooooo

Ok so as of friday of this week I'm going to have a AC/DC 225/125 arcwelder. wooooooooooo. I picked it up for 200 bucks they go for about 450 + brand new. this one is used but not much on it. guy went to mig and doesn't use it. SO between that and the shop I work at I get my steel for dirt cheap just about cost. Pick it up friday get a 220 hooked up in the garage and then pick up some scrap at work and then I'll be on my way to making cool stuff for my rig. SO excited not sure if I can sleep tonight. get to finish my rockers and then start on a belly skid and front bumper then come up with a rear bumper and tire carrier for the jeep. after I get really good I'm going to move on to my own longarm setup.

I should be doing the trimming for tj flares in a week or so.

nice this saterday I'm going to denver to pick up my set of TJ flairs and I might get to them on sunday or just wait tell the fallowing weekend cause I have to be in golden sunday at 1. not sure if that will leave me with enough time. Well not that I'm gettint that welder it's all the more reason to finish off the garage. get a few 220 plugs in there and hang my lights in there. so figgin dark in there with just one bulb right now.

ya so friday I pic it up I can't wait. then today was my bday and got some cash. Then the woman got me a gift card for sears so I can buy some tools. We were there on sat and they had all their sets on sale but she wasn't sure of the one to get me so she just did the perfect thing and got me the gift card. God I love her. :worship:

just picked up the welder on my way home from work and the guy gave me a ton of rod to go with it. Like alot of rod. Just need to swing by the scrap bins at work to do some practic runs then order my stuff to start making the bumpers. that and finish off my rockers.
