No, I read correctly. We have gotten a lot lately, though! At least IMO.... Oh well, it makes driving fun.. lotsa muddy puddles around here now and it puts my newly installed wiper arms to good use! I still want some sun, however. :sunshine:

The rain here has been relentless the last several days. There was a mudslide in Snowmass Village that almost took out a house.

Jeepin' should be fun come Thursday, my day off.

Relentless is a good word for it. I think it's supposed to let up on Tuesday here... but I get to work, goodie! Enjoy the mud!

Now that we're pretty much done moving...my better half has given me clearance to return to the water in pursuit of fish. I really dont care about the rain now. I'll fish in anything. The lightning does make me wanna poop myself though.

Well we got some good rain saturday and drizzle most of the day sunday up here in stink town. Now on a sad note I got home friday and my 47" widescreen TV went out on me. The GF turned it on to watch tv while eating breakfast friday morning and it would turn on then snap off. Unplug it try it again same thing. Tried it off the surge protector and other wall plugs same thing. Saturday track down the warranty info and 5 years baby and I've only had it 3 wooooooooo having a guy come check it out here this week. The worst part is I have a 35" tv that I brought up from the basement and was using that right. Well before I thought wow 35" sure is nice then having to go back and watch it after 47" and man I was like WTF I can't see the tv type thing. Worst part is one speaker on the tv is shot and the other one sucks so now I'm hunting down cables to hook it up to my surround sounds system.

O ya and the sun is out today wooooooooooooooo happy dance.

Speaking of wet weather. I got a call from one of our reporters that a home in Basalt was flooded by a mud flow. So I went to it to get some photos and the owner was saying "a wall of mud 5 feet deep came speeding down the mountain and filled my basement."

The mud in the basement was about that deep and completely ruing her house. Here's the catch, the mudslide originated from a mountain over 1/4 mile away.

It's on the Aspen Times website.

Just when you think you're safe living in the flat areas of the mountains.

Pablo...I haven't fished the Roaring Fork or the Frying Pan but I really want to. I've heard killer things about them both. Do you fish them pretty regularly? Wanna go?

Fishing in the Pan & Fork are a bit "hit or miss" right now due to all the rain clouding the water. The Fork is muddy due to all the rain we've been getting but the Pan, fed by Ruedi Dam and Reservoir, is fairly clear still. Most fishermen I've talked with say it's good, just kinda iffy.

Yeah, 1/4 mile away and 5 feet deep. If that were true, she wouldn't have a house. Made me laugh when she said it. Although I kept it inside. Don't want to piss off the subjects.

Speaking of rain, we got 2" in an hour yesterday with hail. Shizznizzle hitting the finizzle here.

Y'all be good.
