I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I know generally how an engine works, but this is the best explanation of the internal thermodynamics I've seen that WASN'T in a postgrad-level textbook. You know, I can almost UNDERSTAND this (hey, I've not taken calculus, chemistry, or physsies is almost 20 years - and what little thermo I know I taught myself!)
