Waterfowl hunters?

Yesterday was a last minute solo run(11pm monday started my drive) up to the eastern sierras. The geese were THICK. I need to bring more ice chests next time. Done by 9 am. Best goose hunt ever.(easiest)

Get up there if you can, set up next to ice/field. It was crazy. No calling needed. I used 35 shell deeks.
I shot 2-3/4 blackcloud #2. Took 13 shots.

I tried for ducks after that on broken ice. 25 shots for nothing. Lol.

840 miles traveled.

Near Topaz Lake is as far north as I traveled. Not quite to Tahoe.

Hey mako, I have been meaning to call you. My buddy and I found a little spot for ducks. Had decent luck for a couple of unprepared rookies! Lol. Anyhow we are going to try again for middle of January. Your more then welcome to join us if you want. Text me and I'll give you more details. There were Geese at our spot as well, just out of our reach.
