Wanted: VW, air-cooled vintage shifter (NON XJ)

Odd request, but I know some of you are into Dub's.
I currently have a BUGPACK t-handle shifter with reverse lockout button. Anyways, the cable finally broke. At this point, as long as it is functional I do not care what shifter it is. Prefer very inexpensive as am low on funds at the moment.
Let me know what ya got. Located on the central coast, so will most likely need to be shipped.

Please do not tell me to go to JY/PAP as I live in a small area and they want a fortune for everything.

At least with my current style shifter, there is a cable that runs from the lower reverse lockout pin to the top of the shifter. When the button is depressed it pulls the cable/pin up to allow the trans to go into Reverse.
So, yes there is a cable inside.
 
My neighbor builds high end bug transmissions for a living. I'll poke him tonight to see what he's got sitting around.

I am on the central coast, 10 mins from the oceano dunes. Thanks for the replys. There are a couple of Dub shops around, just figured I would try my luck here first.
