Voter's Revolt

No thanks, I'll just keep voting in Chicago like I always have.

(kidding, obviously)

OK, Lots of belly aching and moaning here over the passage of Health Car Reform on Sunday 21 Mar 2010. Are you going to put up?

Look over This List determine how your representative voted. Then put up or shut up.

My representative of the last six months, Lynn Woolsey (D-CA) voted for the Health Care package, as did my former represntative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). I am in favor of National Health Care, but as I stated before the House even voted on this issue last Sunday I will NOT vote for anyone in the June primary or the November general elections that has the word "incumbent" next to their name.

Who else is game?

We have been trying to get Kanjorski out for the past two elections, he keeps riding in on shirt tails. If I could accomplish one thing it would be to remove, physically, the straight party lever or choice and FORCE voters to actually PICK BY NAME, heck. don't even put their party in there.

Keep in mind that Pelosi gave the nod to those up for re-election to vote NO once she had bought, bribed and blackmailed enough votes.

and those spineless representatives will probably be voted back in...IF ...their constituents really wanted to have them vote down the health care package to begin with.

Tom, I note that the vote here in CA was split right along Party lines - not saying that I think the Republicans are any better (that's a vague notion at best,) but just sayin'.

I'd already told Lofgren that I will make it a personal priority to do what I can to unseat her in this election. I do not issue threats. Warnings, perhaps, but not threats. I'd told Pelosi the same thing, and I'll work against Boxer and Feinstein as well (Feinstein is the biggest damned hypocrite of the bunch, but the rest come awfully close...)

As far as me goes? Registered NPA. My wife is registered Republican, but will probably change to Independent. However, she doesn't know where the "straight Party" lever even is, and votes conscience and issues (the Reg-R is a holdover from a long time before.)

Jon,

Having moved to Sonoma needed to register agian. Chose 'not affiliated' also. My wife said "Great now we'll get junk mail from both parties"

I am seriously NOT going to vote for any incumbents. Period. Everybody thinks their rep is alright.

Yeah - it's too bad the Federal Do Not Call registry doesn't include political calls...

"Spirit of '76 - Re-elect Nobody!"

"Politicians are like diapers - they need to be changed often, and often for the same reason." -Samuel Langhorne Clemens

I need to legally change my name to "none of the above" before the next election cycle

You should stay rep or dem just so you can have a say in which idiot gets to even run by voting in the primaries. Think of it as pulling weeds just as soon as they rear their ugly growths instead of waiting till they get taller.

I'm voting to keep one incumbent in.

I like Duncan Hunter and he is for everything that I am...

Everyone else is getting the boot though.

Fortunately chris dodd isn't running for re-election.

now its just going to be interesting to see who gets his seat. Unfortunetly if the election was held right now, it would go to the attourney general who is running, and while it would be good to remove him from his current seat, he is a slimy bastard that shouldn't be anywhere near the senate.

That's the mystery I can't figure? My district keeps re-electing Pete Stark... really? :flamemad:

Has anyone in his district seen this video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=7lTUB5_l0Mg&feature=related

or this one from a "town hall" in Fremont?
http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=L2uKPVqBFao

or this response to a constituent?
http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=djeGqNVXjZE&feature=related

These are the people we have elected and can't seem to get rid of. They could care less what we think. I am an independent because of this kind of nonsense... though I am considering joining a party because I cannot vote in the primaries in my fine state. No matter... enough said :gag:

The comments on the third video and in particular the ratings on the comments tells a very very sad tale.

Very sad... This guy (Stark) is one sick puppy, and he "represents me"
