polls open early, and are open late tonight. you have no excuse to not make it, employers are even required by CA law to let you leave work at an appropriate time in order to vote.

:wantyou: :patriot:

I'll be taking Ethan with me this evening as I have done since he was little. He turned 18 in march so it will be the first time he will have earned his "I voted" sticker.

From what I remember, it is California law that your company has to give you time to vote. Don't let your boss screw you out of your civil duties.

Done! This morning at 7, already had a 45 minute wait.

I voted absentee 2 weeks ago.

Just did this morning. Work gave me an hour either before, after, or extra at lunch.

Slept in a little. Only took about 15 minutes. Mine was the next street over (could've walked, but I drove the Jeep :D) in someone's garage. Only a couple of other people there with me.

Just got back. Whole thing took ten minutes. Did anybody get their ID checked? The place where I went never asked for ID, which I thought was strange.

Now I just have to find all the businesses that are giving away free stuff when you show them your "I Voted" sticker. I think Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts were a couple of places mentioned on the news last night.

O RLY? :D I hadn't heard about the free stuff. List or ban! List or ban!

I just showed them my ID because I didn't feel like spelling my last name over and over to the little old lady. Faygus? Daygis? What?
