I was tired of the headliner being the only tan thing in my xj.
I have removed all the light fixtures and speaker grills and painted them.
I will be doing vinyl on the headliner but figured i would start with these.
1. remove three screw from mount and unclip the positve mirror light wire.
2. using a soft panel tool, pry the visor apart while popping the clips.
3. unclip the mirror assembly
4. peel off cloth.
5. spray glue the back of the new material and the visable side of the old material.
6. place glued sides together and then razor the outline.
7. spray glue the back of the material and the outside of the plastic visor housing.
8. place the glued pieces together.
9. spray glue around the edges and then wrapp over the visor.
10. reassemble and mount.
note - if using a clothe, be sure to purchase clothe with the foam backing. use the old cloth as a template and discard old cloth.
