Red 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ Limited, Southwest Michigan
This is a beautiful Jeep that I have taken from a nice, rust free stock rig and modified in an effort to make a super clean, very functional off road machine. I do not have the time to complete the project at this point and would like to find someone with the time and passion to bring it alive. It has not seen a trail since I have owned it. It has less than 50 miles on all the aftermarket mods that I have performed.
Stock Details:
· Gray leather interior, power heated front seats
· Automatic transmission
· Power locks, power windows, cruise control, all options available at the time
· Yakima roof rack bars on the stock mounting rails
· 114,000 miles
· Dana 30 front end, low pinion
· Dana 35 rear end
· 3.55 gears
· Very clean inside
Aftermarket Details:
· 4.5” BDS long arm lift kit
· Advance Adapters SYE
· Tom Woods rear driveshaft
· JCR Offroad rock sliders
· JCR Offroad gas tank skid plate
· JCR Offroad tire carrier rear bumper w/Rotopax cans (2) and mount (not yet mounted on bumper)
· Triple core aluminum radiator w/high flow water pump
· Ceramic coated intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and fuel rail.
· Exhaust manifolds have been wrapped with DEI exhaust wrap to help cool the engine compartment
· Fuel rail is wrapped with a fiberglass/foil wrap to deflect heat
· Bosch 4 port fuel injectors have been installed
· K&N air filter in the factory air box
· Yellow top Optima battery
· 265/75R16 ProComp Xtreme M/Ts on KMC XD wheels, matching spare
Good Stuff Awaiting Installation:
· Chrysler 8.25 rear end, 10 Factory alloy axles, back plates and calipers for disc brake conversion
· ARB air locker and compressor for the rear end
· Detroit TruTrac locker for the front end
· 4.10 gears front/back
· JCR Offroad standard front bumper, no prerunner
· Bushwacker flat fender flares
· Dana 30 high pinion w/4.10 gears
· AutoMeter transmission temperature gauge
· Boston Acoustic speakers
· BDS transfer case skid plate
· 1 ton tie rod/steering upgrade
I have over $15k invested in this Jeep including the purchase of the vehicle. It has been sitting, waiting patiently for me to give it more attention. I do not have the time for the attention needed so it is time to see if I can find a new owner. If you want to build/have a beautiful XJ, this is a great option.
