I wish someone would do this in texas!

Go for it. Find a good location in your area and post up on it a month or so in advance to give people time to plan.

Which exit should I take to get there coming from Thousand Oaks... BJ's is in a plaza where there are a bunch of stores and things right? Where they have been doing some road work and stuff? Thanks.

Exit Vineyard, go LEFT over the freeway, merge/yield/turn RIGHT on Esplanade Dr, keep going until you come to a stop sign(not sure if its the first one or not) where the road curves sharp left and intersects Oxnard Blvd, turn RIGHT at the stop sign to enter the shopping center(opposite direction than Oxnard Blvd). Turn LEFT once you are in the shopping center, and you should see BJ's. It is in its own building, the last one in the shopping center.

I'm not sure, but you might be able to get on Oxnard Blvd(left at the stop, then right on Oxnard) and get into the parking lot closer to the building, but I always turn into the parking lot at the stop sign because I can never remember. :banghead:

Hard to explain, its not that hard.....

Maybe another local can second me on this???

You pretty much got it, however it is the second stop sign, both will get you there though.

OK, thats what I thought.

A side note, do we all want to park kinda together? This place gets pretty busy, especially around 7pm on a saturday. If anybody wants, we most likely can all park in a line if we park on the back row(along Oxnard Blvd) down past the restaurant. You know where I'm saying?

Just thought it'd be cool if we were all parked together so we can check out each others rigs without walking all over the parking lot.

It's worth reiterating... BJ's on a Saturday evening is going to be very crowded.

Yep, yep, and I always tell my kids the guys with the biggest bumpers win. Good times ahead.

How about gettin there at 6 instead of 7?
The parking might be better and we can meet and check other rigs with some daylight?

That would be fine for me, I dont know if anyone has rock hard plans on meeting at 7 or not though. Daylight wouldnt be a big problem if we didnt have it, there are lights in the parking lot, and flashlights are a great thing. :sunshine: I just thought parking in the same general area would be cool, not spread out. And the parking at 6 wont be that different than 7.

Its up to everyone, would anyone rather have it at 7?

I dont know very much about the area, I was speculating a little on parking thing. 7 really is OK for me, I just thought I would throw a suggestion out to possibly help out with a parking issue.

Guys if you want to show up at 6 that is fine,I may do so also. We have set the time at 7 and people will come early, people will come late, but let's not make thi thread confusing with only a few days left. Meet is at 7pm, but some will start showing at 6pm till ?????
There is plenty to do if you would like to show up early, your call fellas.

Good meeting up with you all. I think the next GTG should be on the beach over by the LaJanelle, more parking-deep sand keeps the crowds away, cheaper food, and great scenery.

Looks like BC109 is getting the go ahead for this coming weekend. Hope you all can make it. I am planning on getting there mid afternoon and doing some night wheeling.

Yeah, it was nice to meet everyone. I'll be keeping my eye out for all of you driving around now.

Wish I could come to BC109, sounds like a fun place. But I have a Brad Paisley concert thats been on my calendar for a long time to go to on that Sunday.

Hope you all have fun and stay safe.

Yep, Glad to meet everyone. Hopefully we'll get a few more people out next time.
Thanks again for setting it up.

Rob

Had a great time last night meeting with you all, Too bad Captain Ron couldn't stay and hang out. I wish I could join you on BC109 but I will be out of town. Let us all know the next time this little trip comes back around, maybe I can join.
