upgrading grille

I was wondering if anyone knows or has tried to upgrade their front grille I have a 1995 Up Country and was thinking about tring to put a newer years set up on it any help would be great

I assume you mean upgrading to the 97+ front end?
you'll need fenders, head panel, grill, side markers, front turn signals. I think that's it. Basically the whole front end. If you want it to be really complete you'll need the 97+ bumper end caps.

Doesn't mean it can't be. I consider my '99 a upgrade over my '94 and '91.

thankx for the input since the body lines dont match ill stick to what is original i got the deal of a life time a 95 up country with minor front end damage for 200 bucks so just putting it back together right now but again thankx for the imput

When it comes to cosmetic modifications, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people might consider the newer style grille to be an upgrade, I personally don't but that's my own taste and I accept that some people will disagree.

actually, teh '97 nose looks really good on mj's. i was going to "upgrade" mine to the 97 nose and hatch, but i really like the way it looks now.

stick w/ the fiberglass hatch over the metal

it would be a PITA to switch hatches. Too much work IMO
