After mangling my XJ on Carnage last September (08) it's been off the road. Well 'it finally back on the road, with improvements!

What do you guys think? I'm planning on replacing the doors and front fenders in the not to distant future. I might even paint it all one color too...

Nice!

But....... is that a peace symbol welded to your diff cover? :dunno:

SSSSHHHHHHHHhssssssshhhhhh! The cover was like that when I got the rearend. The "peace through superior firepower" sticker should cancel it out. Then again, maybe I should paint the cover like a bomber as well.

I want that peace symbol cover... :D

but, uh, what happened on carnage???

I got stuck on the far side of a boulder, on an obstacle I've made it over before. I'd fallen off of the boulder and became high centered. The only way out was back over the boulder. While being dragged back off of if, it rolled and I came down hard on the B-pillar rocker area and the unibody. It buckled through the floor. I also folded a RE lower control arm and smashed what was left of my gas tank to the point it was only being held by one strap. Top of the doors, my thumb for a gap. the bottom, a credit card. The trail lived up to it's name to the very end. No alcohol was involved in this mayhem, but have should've been. I limped it home afterward.

Damn. Sounds like carnage won that round!!
Any pics from then, or a link to the thread?

Did you really put duct tape on your plate for the pictures?

As a matter of fact I did. These pictures were taken on 2 different days. And there are 2 different plate #'s since I destroyed my front plate 2 years ago. In case you're wondering, the taped plate # was 747 MUI. The front plate was not on the Jeep when I took the first set of photos. I didn't forget, but wondered what kinda crap I would get for it. I posted the "taped" photo elsewhere on a less friendly board. Sheesh.

Is the filler neck still behind the gas door?

I'd like to see how that worked out.

That's the same bumper you had at Seth's memorial?
