Under hood winch solenoid wiring question

I'm mounting the solenoid box for my winch under the hood where my stock airbox used to be. What I'm wondering is what is the best way to run the wiring. I've got three 2AWG cables that will go from the solenoid to the winch and a 4th that will go from the solenoid to the + battery terminal.

The 3 that go from the solenoid to the winch I am thinking I'll run them down around the steering gear and behind the front crossmember below the radiator. The one that goes to the + terminal on the battery I'm thinking I'll run on top of the front cross member tucked behind where the top of the cross member meets the front clip.

What are everybodys thoughts? This a good way to run the wiring or is there a more obvious solution that I'm just not seeing at the moment.

Here's some pics of mine.

Controls mounted in the center console - power cutoff, winch "in", winch "out".there's also (not shown) a dash mounted green L.E.D., that works in conjunction with the power switch, to let me know when/if the winch is active.

Looks like your routing is about the same way as I'm thinking. Now if I can get around to replacing my busted fan shroud I could run the hot leads the way you did too. Thanks for the insight, it looks like that's my best option.
