Well I'm kind of confused at how my Jeep has been acting lately. It's been sitting in my driveway for about a week now, it needs a new alternator. But other than that drives great. So I decided to pull the codes today before I went to the yard and got a new alternator, and was suprised what came up.
p0743, Torque Converter Ckt. It has been shifting kind of funky, and doesn't go into overdrive, so maybe this is related (I hope). I checked the fluid, which was replaced along with the filter about 2 weeks ago. Golden. Looks like new still, no burnt smell, correct level. I did search, but it seems like no one fixed it, they just reset the comp and it slowly faded out. Any ideas?? Could it be a bad TCM?
