TTB in a XJ

Check this link and you get an idea of what I'm saying... http://dezertrangers.com/cgi-bin/ib/ikonboard.cgi?;act=ST;f=26;t=32393 The last two pics are the best. It also illustrates the Twin I Beam and the TTB setups biggest problem, constant camber change. The I beams can get some seriously ridiculous travel, but the TTB is extremely limited due to the axle shaft between the diff and the passenger side. Though, with some grinding and U-joint clearancing, I've 19" of trtavel with bent beam TTB.

Most folks continue to use the D35, but the serious offroaders use the F150 D44 TTB, gives a wider stance.

why do you still want 4 wheel drive? Just curious as A arms would be the way to go if your fabbing go fast suspension. While TTB is used quite a bit I don't see why, doesn't seem all that benficial to me, except that what was used stock.
