tricks / techniques to removing old emblem adhesive

I have had some success with a heat gun and a cotton cloth... maybe a little mineral oil? I have tried wd40 and areo kroil.

But is there some trick you know of thats sure fire? I'm trying to get the remains of a dealer emblem off the hatch. friggin stupid crap. :nosmile:

An eraser... will remove glue/tape/pin stripe, you name it.

+1, used it to remove the double sided tape for the door trim. make sure the area is clean of dirt and grim first. and don't let it heat up the area too much.
