transfer case recently re-built,..and..

Hopeing to save myself some additional labor-I have just finished rebuilding my transfer case and accidently allowed a rather large formed chunk or piece of the permatex gasket sealer to fall down into the case and was wondering if I need to split the case again and go back in and do a retrieval-I am assumeing that this formed piece of permatex inside of the transfer case will be dissolved or ground up by the gears or ATF?-

try just flushing it out with ATF
