Hey I have the AX-15 tranny in my 1989 jeep and all of the sudden today on my way home from work the tranny started making a noise. ... .. Kinda like a harsh case of clutch chatter if you hold in the clutch it stops gradually like it is free spooling. It is a clunking in the bell housing area. if the jeep is idling without the clutch pressed it makes the noise. Any Ideas I am totally baffled and I have replaced every part in this area except flywheel. But new centerforce clutch.. Well over 1 year old now but still. and new slave cylinder, throwout bearing, pressure plate, and even a master cylinder. Any Input would be the GREATEST help thanks in advance guys.
