Trail strikes back, plz help asap

Jeep = 0

Clevis = 1

Broken Strap = 1

Winch needed AGAIN = 1

Hatch Gone and roof caved in needed some good fab work = 1

Needless to say, I had a $h1^^y night!

I really need some suggestions on what to do to the roof, I can handle replacing the hatch, but the roof is dented in 2-3"

Was that damage caused by a shackle??

I'd see a local body shop for ideas on that dent. Depending on what sort of finish you are looking for you can probably bang it out relatively well with a mallot.

The damage was from a Clevis.

Yeah, i dont care about finish, SHOOT, my current finish is rattle can, ill just can it again, but IDK about leaking.

You did not have a shackle on a strap...did you?

As far as the damage...beat it into shape with a BFH and rattle can it.

my buddy hooked a clevis in between 2 brand new straps rated at 20k each.

the strap on his end broke.

Be thankfull it wasn´t your head. I´ve got five or six dents (skip marks) across my hood and four or five more on the roof. Don´t ask me how it missed the windshield. I got off luckier than you. I just picked up a couple of super duty tree savers, not gonna make that mistake again.
I´ve done some pretty amazing things with a selection of boards, blocks, jacks and patience (a tree to anchor to and a couple of good straps). I try to picture how the dents occured and try and undo them in reverse, a step at a time, not all at once. Getting the rear hatch to seal, is gonna be a pain. I never have gotten mine, just right.
