track bar parallel to draglink

so whats the purpose of those bends in a trackbar? when i do my OTK, do i align the draglink with the track bar bend or set it parallel to the imaginary line drawn directly from the TB mount to the TB frame mount? what are ya'll opinions of the bulletproof setup, OTK and non OTK?

ps, also i know there was a thread a while back dealing with an issue of the driver side coil rubbing against the TB frame mount... well, mine does that too, when the axle is centered. It freakin sucks

For the purpose of determing parallel, what counts is the geometry of the end joints. The shape of the bar between the joints is irrelevent. The bend is to clear the differential housing, and to get the upper end of the track bar as close as possible to being in the same plane as the hole in the frame bracket so the ball joint has maximum movement potential in all directions.

my heim is not even close to parellel with the frame bracket and the 5/8 bolt it pivots on is angled towards the drivers side is this normal?
