I have a buddy that had a bad rear axle seal in a 92 Xtra cab P/up. I'd like to help him replace it, but the chiltons calls for the use of a bearing press and other assorted tools.
He's called around and the cheapest quote is 5 hrs and 500.00 minimum.
Atfer looking at the e-toolbox fsm and schematic, it looks almost as easy as a D35 axle seal.
(done them before)
Is there anything special that I'll need to do this? It looks pretty straightforward (without any special tools)
Anything helps.
Thanks,
John
