torque values, lower arms & u-bolts,tcase

Hi,

Got my lift on just need to double check some torque values. I'm also splitting my 242 for a sye,

Lower arms,

Rear Spring U-bolts,

Track Bar,

Tcase,

Ubolt straps on rear pinion,

(anything else?)

lower arms- both ends--133 ft lbs
u bolts------52 ft lbs
track bar axle bracket nut--74
track bar ball stud nut------62
u bolt straps---14

I wanted to correct one bit of information here. The torque value listed for the axle end of the track bar probably came from the same Haynes manual that I used and it is not correct! That bolt is M10 coarse thread 10.9 hardness.

I believe Haynes did not do their conversion from NM to Ft. Lbs. The 2000 XJ FSM says 40 Ft. Lbs. for this bolt.

Don't ask why I know that 74 Ft. Lb. is too much torque for this bolt.
